Reviews….

“A Wonderful Book – Highly recommended
This book relates to so many people on so many levels. I don’t work in this field, but in my community based work, come across many people for whom day to day life is a struggle due to mental illness. This book would be useful to all of them.I found this to be a powerful resource. I worked with students with mental health challenges and this was an easy read and one I believe would be very helpful.
A well structured book which is divided into a number of chapters, which are accompanied by very useful resources and templates for going forward.
This book will allow the reader to understand what triggers their anger, how they should manage it, followed by strategies for success.
I highly recommend this book”.

“A Wonderful Resource!
As a retired Special Education Teacher, I found this to be a powerful resource. I worked with students with mental health challenges and this was an easy read and one I believe would be very helpful. I like using acronyms such as the ones referenced in this book, TIPP, ACCEPTS, and IMPROVE. This will empower the reader to understand what triggers their anger, how to manage it, and strategies for success. I highly recommend this book”.

“Very practical and connects key health challenges that cause anger.
As a a nurse, i really enjoyed how the author wrote specifically about how anger affects you PHYSICALLY. You know getting angry can ruin your day? You adrenalin is pumping, you have a headache and cannot focus? The author explains WHY this occurs and then gives many practical tips to reset your approach and write an action plan to change and improve your life”!

“A simplified approach to a complex matter
A pragmatic approach to something in which we all, inevitably, confront. The author takes us through multiple techniques to develop self-calming practices to recognize our anger and consciously deal with it. Too often we lash out with regret; this book intends to provide tools that allow us to implement basic self-help tactics.. While proper therapy is not discouraged, suggestions such as Ten “quick fixes” focus on visualization and breathing, mindfulness practices that have the power yield immediate results and cost nothing. There is much to be learned and even you choose dismiss the author’s suggestions, this book should be part of your journey”.
